Nelson County, VA Passes Resolution Supporting Health Centers

Blue Ridge Medical Center (BRMC), a Community Health Center located in Arrington, Virginia, announced on their Facebook page that the Nelson County Board of Supervisors passed a resolution in support o

f BRMC and all health centers!

In part, the resolution reads:

…BE IT RESOLVED, that the Nelson County Board of Supervisors hereby supports the National Association of Community Health Center’s “Campaign for America’s Health Centers” in its efforts to demonstrate to the federal and state governments that health centers like Blue Ridge Medical Center are an essential part of America’s commitment to health care and an essential part of the strategy to deliver cost effective, efficient AND high quality care; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Nelson County Board of
Supervisors pledges its strong support for the efforts provided by Blue Ridge Medical Center as well as the National Association of Community Health Centers, The Virginia Community Health Care Association, and others; and hereby appeals to Congress and the Administration to assure that this support continues.
